Cardiac/Intermediate Care - A2Radius Rule: 100 milesStart dates are
not flexible.SUBMISSION PROFILE REQUIREMENTS - Must be in the
profile or cannot move forward with submittal. --- Start Date -
Must match the next available start date, include in attached
profile/resume --- EPIC experience required. Ensure it is accurate
(there have been inconsistencies on the resume versus the cover
page) > EMR listed on each work assignment --- Time Off- Ensure
dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or
less. > Include within the attached profile/resume. All RTO
needs to be in at time of submission. --- Resume- Ensure resume
information is accurate (there's been an increase in inaccurate
information sent). > MUST INCLUDE: detailed duties, hospital
size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable) for each
hospital. > Explain any employment gaps upon submission and
include in attached profile/resume. --- Certifications- Make sure
certs are accurate and up to date. --- License- Active and in hand

Cardiac/Intermediate Care - A2# of Beds 36Nurse: Patient Ratios
1:4-5 could have some mixed MS and PCU patients1:5 for all MS
patientsRequired certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS,
NIHSSCommon diagnoses/Types of patients CHF, NSTEMI, MI, heart
block, pacer, TAVR, CABG day 2, recovers cath pts after sheath is
pulled, Watchman, bradycardia, VT, general PCU overflow:
respiratory failure, low BPs, low hemoglobin, sepsis, post
surgical, etc. Experience or 'Must have' skills Ok first time
travelersPrefer experience with TAVR and CABG (core staff usually
take)This unit has cardiac focus.Travelers must have experience
with all drips belowAre RNs required to titrate drips? YesCommon
titratable &/or set rate drips amiodarone, cardizem,
dobutamine, dopamine, heparin, start nitro, insulinIs there a
Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an
assignment? Charge- free of assignment, try to avoid giving an
assignment ( could take a couple patients on very rare occasion)Are
there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?
PCA-8-12 per person, potentially lessRT Equipment (Vents, Cpap,
BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these
besides trouble shoot? bipap, hi flow, stable trach Are there
tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own
strips? What brand are the tele monitors? Tele on this unit,
Travelers need to read tele, however there is a dedicated monitor
tech as well Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
Block scheduling?) 6:45-7:15a, charge to make schedule to balance
unit needs, will take travelers requests into consideration.Weekend
