- BLS certification required
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N)
required
- AZDHS license with either ARRT(N) or CNMT required
- Open to first time travelers with 1 year of experience
- PET and NM experience preferred
- Must have IV experience
- Experience with Epic, PACS- eUnity, and MIMS desirable
- Schedule Information
- Centralized scheduling office to use a template
- Shifts are Monday-Friday 7-3 and 8-4
- On call rotation for weekends and holidays
- Every third weekend, Sat-Sunday, calls in are rare
- Unit Specific Information
- 1 PET scanner and 3 Nuc Med Cameras in the department
- Technician will cover PET 70% of the time and Nuc Med 30%
- Types of imaging/studies include PET CT brain, PET CT whole
body, bone scan, etc.
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA's) used
- Radiologist in-house 24/7
- Technician will have to start IV's
- Department specific equipment includes mobile unit Phillips
Gemini and Siemens machines
- PET/NM is a small close-knit department with 3 people
- Additional Details
- Lead Tech functions as an alternate radiation safety
officer
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Grey scrubs
- 2 weeks department specific orientation with more time if
needed
